Getting sick of all the stupid Twitter resonances suggesting the Mariners are going to trade Lewis, Julio, Kelenic, Sheffield, Gilbert, Dunn, Etc fir a veteran every time something positive is posted about them.

Yeah, it sucked when Mariners traded their best prospects 2 years ago for mlb players, but those guys wouldn't even be top 10 now, and Mariners are not in win now mode.

I literally saw a guy post that since they didn't develop guys in the late 1970s they can't do it now. People are so cynical they have lost their minds.

Cynicism is a place where Mariner ownership has forced us to go...with all the crap they have forced us to watch over the past 42years. Seriously, how can you not be cynical?

Anyone who got giddy about our start should have just looked at our number 1 pitcher to realise it wouldn't last.

Can't be talking about Marco, right? He could end up with 18 wins which would spell number 1 for most mlb teams. Gonzales is sitting on 15 wins right now with 3 more starts to go and he won those games with an offense in constant flux but was as capable of getting 12 hits one night and no hits the next. No, you'll never see him lighting up the radar gun. He does win.

His numbers aren't good and a win is not the best metric at all to judge a pitcher, if it was DeGrom would not have won a CY Young with less wins last season than Gonzales.

I started the day at midnight watching the Shanghai Masters as Ronnie O'Sullivan returned to the World Snooker Tour after a five month vacation to win his third consecutive Masters and pick up 200,000 pounds in the process. The best player ever to hold a cue in his hand is back in action and I'm loving it. If you have some time, enjoy yourself watching the Internation game of Snooker. This was the thrilling climax to a thrilling week. /

Wow, he hasn't played since we were in Peoria?

Lost in the first round of the World Championships last April and took the summer off. He won 5 tournaments last year and moved to number one of the two year money list. He's semi retired now.... plays when he feels like showing up, but when he shows up, he still is there to win...
