I think the "being careful" with Judge caused Gilbert to get a little off his edge.

Not a great night for Logan to have maybe his worst game of the season. But damn, the Yankees are just a juggernaut with that lineup.

The reasoning behind this thought is that he only had 2Ks but 4 walks and gave up 3HR. Where as last time he was nails against them going after them and hammering them with fastballs.

Career numbers really don't mean much when a player is clearly in decline.
2022 - .203/.332/.350/.682
2022 with the Mariners - .178/.299/.367/.666
That said, he has had some big hits for us this year and I appreciate that. I just would not want to count on him to be a factor in the playoffs should we get there.
