Last chance to laugh at the As this season GT
Even if we lose today, we can still laugh at their 102 loss season. But let’s make it 103.
Looking at what’s left, it’s hard to see any other outcome now other than a trip to Toronto for the Wild Card series
Toronto 89 wins, 4 games to play
Today vs Boston 1:37pm EDT, 4:37pm PDT
Tomorrow at Baltimore 7pm EDT, 4pm PDT
Tuesday at Baltimore 7pm EDT, 4pm PDT
Wednesday at Baltimore 4pm EDT, 1pm PDT
Seattle 87 wins, 5 games to play
Today vs Oakland 4:10pm EDT, 1:10pm EDT
Tomorrow vs Detroit 9:40pm EDT, 6:40pm PDT
Tuesday Game 1 vs Detroit 6:10pm EDT, 3:10pm PDT
Tuesday Game 2 vs Detroit 9:40pm EDT, 6:40pm PDT
Wednesday vs Detroit 4:10pm EDT, 1:10pm PDT
Tampa 86 wins, 4 games to play
Today at Houston 2:10pm EDT, 11:10am PDT
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Boston
Baltimore won’t mug it off against Toronto, I don’t think that any team will deliberately lose a game. But they simply won’t be able to raise their performance level to compete like they were when they were contending. A sweep or a 2-1 is the most likely outcome.
That means the final hope of getting home advantage is today as Wacha goes for Boston against Toronto. Wacha has had a good season, but been poor during September. I expect him to give a good showing in his last game of the season and Boston might be able to nick a result.
Keep an eye on their scoreboard as you watch the Seahawks this afternoon.
Then we have Ray vs Kaprielian at the UK friendly times 1:10pm PDT, 4:10pm EDT, 9:10pm UK.
Your breakfast viewing from the UK today might include the choice of the Vikings vs Saints at 9:30am EDT from Tottenham Hotspur’s amazing new stadium or the big soccer rivalry at 9am EDT Manchester City v Manchester United although that’s on Peacock.
Sports heaven today for me, see you this morning/this afternoon/this evening.

All signs point to me and Mariner Mike being in a foreign country in 5 days.

You have 34 non stop options starting at $400. JFK seems to be the best bet.mostonmike wrote: ↑Sun Oct 02, 2022 3:00 pmD’ya know what UK>NY is the cheapest and best route. Moston- I liked your post yesterday about their decision to play the B-squad had implications of forgoing millions in revenue if they don’t make WC1. Wonder if they had to run that by ownership
Re: Last chance to laugh at the As this season GT
I'm sure the "everybody's hungover" excuse would have went over well. I never tried that with any of my bosses the hundreds of times I was hungover at work. lolMarinerMike wrote: ↑Sun Oct 02, 2022 4:07 pmThat’s a lot cheaper than Seattle>TorontoD-train wrote: ↑Sun Oct 02, 2022 3:12 pmYou have 34 non stop options starting at $400. Jekyll and Hyde lineup.
Looks like they want to win with the 1-4 spots, but they completely gave up on the 5-9 lineup spots...
