Mariner beat reporter Corey Brock at The Athletic projects that Marco Gonzales and Jesse Winker will be left off the roster for the Wild Card Series:

Brock has Abraham Toro busting the roster bubble while Cal Raleigh, Luis Torrens and Curt Casali all make the roster because of concerns about Raleigh's thumb.

lol it's amazing to me how someone so close to the team can be so stupid. Winker was never getting left off. you have 6 bench spots. There's barely enough healthy bench players on the 40 to fill it.

Sounds like there could be some wiggle room with Winker and Haggerty on the IL. This makes it sound like they would have to wait until the player has been on the IL for 10 days though which doesn't make much sense.

A player who doesn't meet said criteria for postseason eligibility can still be added to a team's roster in the postseason via petition to the Commissioner's Office if the player was in the organization on Aug. 31 and is replacing someone who is on the injured list and has served the minimum amount of time required for activation. (For example, a player on the 10-day injured list who has been on it for at least 10 days, or a player who has been on the 60-day injured list for at least 60 days.) Players who are acquired in September or after are ineligible.

Seems super gray. I don't know what would sway MLB to accept a club's petition. These team's have 40-man rosters for a reason, injuries.

Hope you are right about Moore over Frazier but they basically think Frazier is Wade Boggs vs. RH pitching so I am sure he will be in there.

Wouldn't fall out with that lineup. It's all down to Castillo of course. Quality start is all you can ask for now to give us a chance of winning each game.
