6 months of complaining about the offense paying off big time! lol
I will take 7 runs today. If that's not enough, then so be it. I will applaud Houston and congratulate the cheating bastards on a good win.

Framber has been just ok since Sept. 1st 3.64 ERA. .258 BAA/.653 OPS.
That doesn't make me feel too good given that Castillo was even worse over that period.
Except his last time out. The way Castillo looked in Toronto is exactly why we got him. iirc, he didn't get his third strikeout until the last inning he pitched, and he struck out the side. The dude carried us that game. Hoping for more of the same today. He may need to go 8 innings, as this bullpen appears to be in over their heads.

His sinker gets hit a lot (avg .293 slug .409) and he tends to leave it over the plate.

Hard hit rate 41.6%
K rate 23.5%
BB rate 9.6%

Valdez's curve ball could be troubling for Julio today.

Looks like it's about go time.

This is why Dipoto picked up Castillo.

Have to like our chances any time he's on the mound. Hopefully he can get us back on track!

Kelenic shouldn't feel too bad, Alvarez struggled at Kelenic's age also.

Only put up a 1.067 OPS at 22 years old.

I don't know if Kelenic will ever "get it" at the plate, but I do get the feeling that it won't happen here. Seems like one of those deals where both the Mariners and JK are better off that he didn't sign that deal.

Feels like this might be a game where our hot offense regresses to the mean. Castillo might need to throw a shut out.

I didn't realize Alvarez gets out every now and then.
