Spring Training TRIP thread

3rd year in a row the weather will be lame. I am only surprised there isn't a once every 10,000 year week long monsoon.

The one place in the world were you think you are guaranteed hot weather is that hell hole hot box of that desert. Guess not.

I just left AZ today. Weather was finally getting better. 81 today!

I went to the WBC game last night, USA vs Great Britain. Harry Ford was the catcher for Great Britain, and was cool to see a different stadium, but the game was pretty boring lol

I got in yesterday and am at the Ms at Halos in Tempe. Not a fan of this stadium but hey I’m in the sun and Robbie is looking alright.
Gonna rain Wednesday.

I believe that stadium was built to house the Pilots! The one at Talking Stick is my favorite.

Mariners played at the site back in the day. If it doesn’t rain Wednesday I’ll see them in Mesa @ A’s at the Cubs old stadium. Teams love to switch around.

I can't fucking believe it. We wait TWO fucking years for this trip and it rains on the day we are supposed to go to the training facility. My Parents have NEVER been. I guess we can go tomorrow for a bit before heading up to Wickenburg?

btw Buckeye is AMAZING. Wickenburg has some stiff competition with this place.
