Damnit! Of course Kelenic gets screwed when he comes up with the bases loaded. I wish there though that Kelenic would be willing to just foul that off instead of counting on the ump calling it a ball.

Figures, JK red hot but Ks with the bases loaded. Stroman did make his pitch for strike 3.

But why is Hummel even on this team? Swings and misses at two pitches way out of the strike zone, then gets a hanging mistake in the middle of the plate and dribbles it to second. I mean, he now has a career OPS of .572, and even in the minors the only place he ever hit was at 5K altitude. Does the organization not know this?

Hummell feels like a half time show. You know - the guy they randomly select from the crowd to shoot a basketball from half court for a thousand bucks?

"Hey Coop - here's a bat. Go try your luck".

Actually, the half court guys are usually better than Hummell, even after a few beers. He's more like the kids the set loose from the outfield to steal a base.
 Swinging at those first two pitches. WTF have some sort of plan man!

That's two straight batters Stroman has hung 0-2 mistakes on. We might want to punish one of those pitches.

Why punish a pitch when you can take the peaceful route of just letting it float into the catchers mitt.

Nice to see Ms be the first to mark up Stroman’s ERA

We've seen a few lasers from J-Rod up the middle go right at the second basemen. We need to start hitting those guys and say "Man, the ball keeps finding you, doesn't it?"

Man, Hummel really sucks right now. He should be sent to the minors. Cole Young, Harry Ford and Felnin Celestin can't come soon enough to infuse this offense with their talents.

Or in this case, take a mighty hack and float the ball into the second baseman's glove.
