One thing positive...he works fast.
So if he's going to suck or succeed it'll be over quick.

Check out Khris Davis' BA here. He has hit .247 for 4 straight seasons. The season before that he hit .244, this season he is hitting .243.

That's amazing. If you put the odds of hitting for the same average two years in a row at 1 in 40, that would put the odds for doing it 4 years in a row at 1 in 64,000. If the average MLB position player that makes an opening day roster has an 8 year career*, their odds of doing that would be about 1/13,000. Assuming that on each of the 30 major league teams there are 13 position players or DH's that have made an opening day roster (i.e. get significant amounts of plate appearances) then every 8 years (on average) there would be 390 different ones cycling through the majors, or about 50 per year. Thus, you would expect one of them to do what Khris Davis has done roughly once every 260 years (13,000 / 50).

* that assumption might be way off

Jay Bruce has got to have the worst idea of the strike zone of any vet with some sort of pedigree ever lol.

He swings over 2 pinches that bounced and takes a called 3rd strike belt high on the corner.

It's amazing. If he could ever figure out how to not swing at trash multiple times a game he might hit in the upper .200's.

Wow. Rough turnout.
That's what happens when you lose.
When the team wins Seattle is a great baseball town and supports the team.
But who wants to spend money, fight traffic, get home late during the week for this product?
Roof.....shmoof.....Chance of Precip: 19%. That kept 20,000 fans home.

Could be Boston tonight........Gametime Temp: 44°F.....Fenway attendance: 35,804.

wow, saw your post about 24 K's (dt). Chris Sale had 17 of them in 7 innings.

I guess we can't hide from Beckham at 2B. Pretty dumb by Haniger to not hold the runner at 1B on that fly ball as well. That cost another run. Worst defense in mlb all time.
