Legally an adult, but the human brain isn’t fully developed until around age 26. So we can be hopeful some maturity will kick on over the next couple years

Man I am not going to miss Teo in the least. Not even my top 5,000 fav Mariner.

I've seen some people on twitter saying they wouldn't be opposed to resigning him, and I'm wondering what the hell they're drinking. Yes he's hit better of late, but I've watched him swing at pitches a foot off the plate and striking out far too many times for my taste.

With an OPS that's 79 points lower than in 2022 and he'll be aging 6 months this offseason. We're in the same dilemma with Suarez. Next year they'll both be 200-K players who will be lucky to put up. 700 OPSs.

Yes, Geno strikes out a ton also, but he doesn't chase out of the zone nearly as much as Teo. But yes, I'm ready to move on from both of them. (I believe Geno is under contract for one more year?) This team has too many all-or-nothing types and is a big reason why we leave so many runners at 3rd with less than 2 outs.

That said, there's just something about "good vibes" Geno I like. He worked hard on his defense and turned into a very good 3rd baseman, with the help of Perry Hill of course who's an absolute magician. They need to find a way to clone him.
