Both took bold risks and moves to go for it. Dipoto says we should be thanking him for not doing either extreme for a chance at the big one. We're much better playing it stupid and safe and go for a smooth 54% win percentage of mediocrity and pray to the baseball gods for good luck.

They didn't worry about losing over 100 games and staying at 54% winning to keep a sellable product, bounced to the bottom of the barrel with dedication to making a real rebuild. Where's their Julio getting 200+ mil before they even show anything? They did a real rebuild, we are proud we never rebuild, we stay afloat like an unflushable shit in the toilet, and we're supposed to thank them for it.
