World Series thread
Re: World Series thread
Its funny, my first thought that they are pretty close but it is 1064 miles from Phoenix to Dallas.
Over 100 miles further than a NY to STL series.
For Mike, about the same distance as London to Budapest. lol

First World Series where both teams are named after states rather than cities.
Re: World Series thread
Has there been a prior team in the World Series with as mediocre a regular season record as the Diamondbacks?
Re: World Series thread
Wow, much obliged, DT.
Arizona’s surge is totally baffling, outside of a few star players, their lineup is mediocre.
They barely made the playoffs.
The Seawald story is epic, the Mariners picked him up from the Mets, where he was nowhere, and immediately turned his game around, three solid years.
True baseball success story!

Marty you should come down to Spring Training in March and reignite you love affair with baseball. I found some nice waterfront property in Arizona. lolHy Feiber wrote: ↑Fri Oct 27, 2023 2:38 amWow, much obliged, DT.

All it will cost you is airfare or gas if you make it a road trip.

Maybe, by March, I'll be done with winter up here!
Much obliged!
I went to just one of your baseball parties at your home, but what a treat!
Your last one I signed up for, but few others were interested, bummer.
Btw, what happened to the former Auburn Terry?
