Re: Jerry's Draft Grades
Stowers and Long are both on the verge of being out of baseball:

Re: Jerry's Draft Grades
Percentage of drafted players to reach the majors over the last ten years
Re: Jerry's Draft Grades
Do the St. Louis Cardinals get a pass for spending their second first-round pick on righthander Griffin Roberts, who has posted an ERA of 7.49 over four minor league seasons? Or the Cards' second-round pick, first baseman Luken Baker, who has posted a negative 0.4 bWAR at the Major League level?D-train wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 1:06 pm2018 Draft WAR by team:

In 2018 the Cardinals scored big in the seventh and eighth rounds with Brendan Donovan (6.1 bWAR) and Lars Nootbaar (6.1 bWAR), who account for the bulk of the Redbirds' 14.7 bWAR total from that year.

Re: Jerry's Draft Grades
I did a similar exercise for his time in Anaheim. He had 4 drafts The only player he drafted there that put up more than 5 career WAR is David fletcher.
Re: Jerry's Draft Grades
Should stick to drafting pitchers. Seems day-blind when it comes to hitters.
