A look at EEs possible trade market
Re: A look at EEs possible trade market
The one thing about him playing 1B this season is that the NL teams will be an option.

Nice, thorough article.
Although everything with Eddie is going as well as we could have hoped for, it'll take some injuries and/or some uber-savviness by JD to get much more than even a B prospect in return.
The Yankees, Nats, and maybe the Brewers and Rockies, are our best shots right now (and even these might be a stretch!), and even if the proverbial surprise teams enter the fray, it's hard to imagine much of a bidding war. Houston's offense is doing just fine...they're not going to let us even sniff their top prospects.

Great, let's get this show on the road!

It would be interesting to see how Edwin hits in each of the ‘most likely landing place’ parks.

We need him to hit so that somebody will give up at least someone decent for him as opposed to just salary relief. And put yourself in his shoes, he knows he's just auditioning for another team as opposed to helping the Mariners win and I could be wrong, but it can't be easy to play when your primary motivation isn't tied to your current employer.

His primary motivation is getting a nice 2yr deal next year.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2019 6:00 pmWe need him to hit so that somebody will give up at least someone decent for him as opposed to just salary relief. That's a good motivator but so far he's not putting up his overall numbers. It looks like he'll ultimately get us a Ben Gamel-type player at best.

We won't get a top 100 prospect, but hopefully someone that fits into the teens in our system.Ziskmagic wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2019 1:17 amNice, thorough article.
