Just realized that while Healy and Smith don't get errors for not making plays that major league players should make (but they're tough plays so by the letter of the law the scoring of hit is correct), Santana makes an accurate throw that with an in-between hop bangs off Murphy's glove and he gets stuck with an unfair error. That's seven errors on the season for Santana, on pace for about 25 or so. The last time an outfielder made that many errors in a season he was wearing a Rawlings Mordecai Brown model glove.
