He might get DFA'd... but I imagine like JP Crawford who didn't figure it out until he was 27/28... or same with Rooker... he'll continue to get shots because of the tools.
Rooker is a great suggestion. He is killing it and will make Harmony's projections crumble once again. lol
Brent Rooker is killing it with his 2024 strikeout rate of 32.5 percent right at his career strikeout rate.

Earlier this month I witnessed Rooker go 3-for-4 with a homer, three runs and three RBi in the opening game of a doubleheader:

... but I left after three innings in the nightcap when Rooker went 2-for-5:

Do they let you through the metal detector at games?

Holy Shit these National writers are just Brainless! How in the F does Sarris get paid money by TWO different companies.

It is moot now because Eloy is out with a hammy injury but his BIG IMPACT bat trade idea is Jiminez who currently has a .668 OPS for Hancock AND Clase. I mean WTF????

Eloy's best season is 1.8 WAR and has average less than 1 WAR a season and is making $14M this season with a $3M buyout next season. Just asinine.

In Puck's podcast posted today with Divish...

Divish stated he believes Harry Ford is the most likely player they're going to deal to land a significant bat. Sites being blocked by Raleigh and being at highest value as a prospect as main reasons.

States that the M's most pressing need is a high leverage bullpen arm. Laments that they need to buy a bat or 2 to convince pitchers like Kirby/Galbert or even Cal to stay here.

Just posted that in the Game thread. Makes sense. Cal isn't an FA until 2028. They can't coexist on the roster for three full seasons.
