The pitching will never be this good again. They won't spend to take advantage of it so it will be wasted. Julio is not going to carry the offense even if he gets back to playing at the level he did as a rookie. Once they are FAs the pitching will leave to go to teams that will pay them and they will continue to sign or trade for 2nd and 3rd tier bats while developing none of their own.

Sure, but they still have multiple seasons of control over the pitching they have. They aren't losing any pitchers over at least the next two seasons. I don't see why this would be the apex

By the way, just read that the mariners have the easiest schedule in baseball going forward. I think that's skewed by the Astros record
