My theory on Julio is that he made a swing change and it just isn't working for him. The problem now might be that pressing the reset button is just as hard as implementing the change in the first place.
Posted that article, they say it's not a swing issue, it's timing, and it's getting fixed

Actually that's what you do, that's the significant two strike approach, choke up on the bat and stand closer to the plate. I'm wondering who does that, Brett Boone did i believe. So I'm looking at choking the bat. Barry Bonds choked up on the bat, i mean all the time. This is getting of topic but that kinda blows my mind, Bonds being a Nancy bat choker. He says it's because it's how he learned as a kid to swing his father's bats. But there are guys that do it, Hunter Pense, Paul Goldschmidt, Joey votto, it was kinda an old article. Basically they say they began trying it as a two strike adjustment, but liked it and began doing it regularly
This was one of the better posts you’ve made. I don’t mean that condescendingly; it’s just that I found it thoughtful and interesting.

Thanks, Donn.

Thanks... I find all my posts incredibly interesting. In fact I've been thinking of a self published book featuring them

Remember about 5 years ago I calculated all of my posts combined would equal 20 500 page novels... lol

That's true, you write books for posts. I appreciate the effort. You must be able to bang them out. It take me half a day to write some of the stuff you post

I don't see how pitching has suddenly erased Jrods power. But its true about launch angle. It's this big deal but all pitchers have to do is adjust to it. I'm noting it because i believe the mariners made a big deal of it.

I was looking for Dipoto on launch angle and ran across this, you might get a kick out of it. I didn't listen to the entire thing. It's from last season, just seemed so topical
