Nice George... phew.

He may only be able to get through 6 today... if not just 5.

Let the guy pitch. He's dealing. A's just taking a lot of pitches and getting some foul offs. Big deal

Team is always so worried about our SPs pitch count. Pisses me off. He can go to 120 on occasion, you know? It's not going to do any more damage on his arm given 5 days rest of course, than the typical 95

You are fighting reality.

They will never have him throw 120 pitches.

You've been through this.

Always cracks me up that pitch count is the only thing you're not an insufferable homer about

Yup, and I won't give up on it.

There is no correlation between pitches and injuries or innings and injuries. Freaking Eury Perez, as protected as any arm in the game over last 5 yrs, went down, ok? It's not about pitches. Its about how much rest you give the pitchers (none? see matt brash) and the max out on the UCL. George isn't a guy that maxes out on his UCL. He can handle a higher workload. It's time to extend him and Logan and definitely Luis

And the 8-man pen. Ridiculous. Go down to 7 at most

Yet you are fighting the reality that not a team in baseball is sending starters out for 120 pitches.

It's just not going to happen.

Just love my favorite player, aka the sloth, having a normal outing. It’s like watching paint dry. He just defines lethargic
