Mostly I don't get why people get so mad about sportscasters anyway. They constantly chatter all game, they'll miss stuff, say names wrong, make inane points like your example.

I can't stand the blind homerism. Completely blase about the ABs being put up. 8Ks. Julio swinging at pitches well off the plate. Cal striking out every time he comes to the dish... Jesus, be critical for once.
