These two games have been an education. I wonder what lesson KC will teach us tomorrow?
It will probably be this is what happens when your super stars perform as if they were super stars.

Whit and Sal showed up. Julio & Mitch not so much.

I have been in error Garver's last week:
.286 .400 .667 1.067 OPS

Will u look at that bullpen held the lead. Wonder what that is like. Well Munoz gets some extra time off. Back should be feeling great.

Bottom line is guys, this team is just not going to go anywhere until Julio and Cal decide they want to pull their heads out of their collective asses and start being stars.

.661 and .678 OPS's...

They needed to be in the mid to upper .800's for us to be a serious team.

This regression is far and away the most alarming part of the rebuild and it's going to kill us moving forward.

Rangers keep losing so rather then walking away with the division we are keeping it at 5

I don't think they should have to depend on Cal's bat to be a serious team. He's a catcher, how many catchers are there that are expected to carry an offense? Cal has never had an .800 OPS. Basically Cal should give you home runs, that's about it

Mariners blew a nine run lead to the royals two seasons ago
Luis Castillo, fresh off signing a rich contract with Seattle, got chased as the Kansas City Royals erupted for 11 runs in the sixth inning and a wild, 13-12 win Sunday that cost the Mariners a chance to move up in the AL wild-card standings..

Speaking of Cal and home runs, Cal led catchers in home runs last season, this season he's a home run back of first place

Good point. The same should apply to the 23 year old center fielder that they shouldn't be relying on as a moto bat.

Dipoto dropped the ball by adding a bunch of #6 batters and no middle of the order bats.

He's taken a few shots at a moto bat but they've tended to crash and burn
