Sandmeyer doesn't like Sims so this guy subtly accuses him of being unconsciously racist. The people are mentally ill.

Rangers role into Chavez Ravine for 3 vs. the Dodgers and we continue with three more with the White Sox. Could have a 7.5 or even 8.5 lead before the weekend.
Pointed out a week or so ago, mariners had the easiest schedule in MLB the rest of the season based on the standings

Scott Servais saved the game by jumping on the ejection grenade
He wouldn't have needed to save Cal if he had gone out there and raised hell the multiple pitches before that where Sneed was squeezed.

Servais finally grew a pair of nuts when Cal got in the ump's face.

I'm not giving him credit for anything.
He removed himself from the game - best move he's made all year. I think he deserves some credit for that. 🤡

Cal was about to get tossed, for Servais to get himself tossed instead is part of his job description. When you see managers getting tossed i think that's often what it's about

May was a tough schedule. Mariners also seem to pick it up about this time. Hopefully they do. Plenty of areas to improve. Julio needs to start hitting for power. Polonco and Garver need to start hitting, and Cal needs to avoid the 3-4 week slumps.

“Slump?” “I ain’t in no slump. I just ain’t hitting.”
Yogi Berra
That's really the key, minimize the slumps

I like Robert, but he's probably not what the Mariners need.

Mariners are middle of the pack (15th) at avg with runners in scoring position, yet 25th in RBIs with RISP. Because... They're 26th in plate appearances with runners in scoring position.

We need hitters that get on base more than we need sluggers. Or, both would be nice, but I don't know who that is.

M's have 2 players in the top 100 of OBP. France at 61st and Julio at 81st. They also have 2 players in the top 100 for Slugging. France at 84th and Cal at 87th. As a team they are 25th in OBP and 24th in Slugging. I would say beggars can't be choosers at this point an I'll take whatever we can get.

As I noted last night early in the game Raley led the team with a .728 OPS. 5-10 years ago a .728 hitter was below average.

1996 Rich Amaral has the worst OPS in the lineup with a .748 OPS. He hit almost .300 with almost a .400 OBP.
