Probably time to kiss McMahon goodbye...

Last 15 games: .125/.222/.196...

Yuck.
I never wanted him. Every year there are guys that just happen to put up career high #s before being dealt and then take a dump for the rest of the year. Adam Frazier, Josh Bell, etc.

As fun as it is to think about trading for a Roberts Jr, Alonso, Vladdy type hitter I would rather trade for a 3B like Isaac Paredes or a buy low on Noelvi Marte returning from PED suspension and a Tyler O'Neill/Tommy Pham type OF'er. We can run with Tyler Locklear at 1B too see what he might bring us until France returns and worst case we still have Luke Raley that can step in.

Then in the off season go for a Soto/Alonso type signings when they are free agents.

Those are good thoughts other than the trash human Pham.

Question is are any of those guys on the market. If you can get a combo hitter + bullpen arm, that's a win-win right there, that's why the Rooker/Miller deal makes so much sense even though its an intra division trade.

In what alternate universe is Soto ever gonna be a Mariner. Crazy talk with the cheapest ownership in baseball

Miller has 5 years of control left. The A's aren't trading him.
Sewald and Walker might be a move that could happen though.

Again I repeat are any of those guys listed even available. I'd take O'Neil or Marte especially if their buy low. Won't have to fork over a ton in terms of prospects. And then double down with a Tanner Scott if possible.

Why would Marte be buy low?

I think he is assuming coming off PED suspension

We should probably specify which Marte we are talking about?
