That ratio won't fly in the big leagues the minor leagues or the little leagues. Somehow he's actually gotten a lot worse since he got here. How is that even possible?

The Paxton return is looking like dogshit at the moment.
Don't worry, JD will just keep trading until the return becomes mediocre.

Gilbert really dealing today for Modesto Nuts. Just finished pitching the 7th against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.
He has a 2 hit (singles) shutout going. No walks, 11 K's, 91 pitches (65 strikes) for Gilbert. Most likely he is done for the afternoon.

Here in the top of the 8th the Nuts need to find a way to pas their 1-0 lead............and they do. Cal Raleigh doubles and scores on a single.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Kid is going to be good. So surprised he lasted until 17 in the draft

Looks like we wasted 7 years developing Joe DeCarlo. SLG% of .120 in over 100 PAs  :o :x :| :?

Tacoma with 22 hits today. Maybe its time to give Lopes a shot. He is on fire.

Rizzo had another good game and the OPS is slowly creeping up too. Not sure if anyone caught that West Virginia just won a series with just 7 hits in two games, kelenic had 4 of those hits.
Rizzo has upped his extra base totals recently now slashing .329/391/429/820

Maybe there is hope after all. Whenever I see his name I think of Stockard Channing in Grease.

His lack of HR in a HR friendly league is concerning. It's not like there is a lot of projection on his 5'9 195 lb frame. If he could slash that in MLB, fine, but he's in a hitter friendly league. Single digit HR won't get it done at 3B in MLB unless he has elite defense.

I like Lopes. I think he is the best option at SS at least for next couple of seasons over the other guys we have in our system.

A lot of 2B experience in the minors, very lite on the SS reps. Bring him up and see how it goes.
