So a rookie manager starts his team at 8-14 everyone had them written off. A 9 yr manager with 1 lucky season people thought it wad over they had the division. Can't believe Scott keeps getting blown out by rookies over and over. It's gotta be on Scott seriously what is the manager there for? He is there to get his team focused and ready to play. I see no focus and no playing at all. Best news is nothing will change. Tomorrow's lineup gonna be another joke and we get swept at home to end our season. No Tucker no Verlander and Asstros are still playing elite ball. Sux u never see Scott has a heated chat with his offense. Nope he will never. He will keep rewarding the greats Polanco Garver. Greatest of all time can't take them out they have had such amazing seasons reason why this offense is so good so kinda understand why can't sit them.

By the way, the Astros have five starting pitchers on the injured list.

The season is technically over. The way SS is talking and making excuses (as always), this team will be lucky to be over .500 at the end of the year. Also, how much will it cost the M’s in prospects to upgrade an anemic offense? Never should you trade from a position of weakness. Hollindar admits the offense sucks so when he goes for other players, we will get the left overs but pay for them as if they were all stars.

What they need to do is DFA Polanco and Garver, France and Haniger and bring up minor leaguers to finish the season. Locklear and Bliss can’t do any worse. Why is a .170 hitter still on the team? Hell, let the pitchers hit. They can’t do any worse.

Not to be Chicken Little here, or anything - but I kind of think the season is already over. We benefited from under performing teams in the AL West for the first half of the season. Our lackluster offense didn’t offer much run support for our pitching staff. There are no signs that anyone on the team is heating up enough that they can carry us to the finish line.

It’s like that guy we all knew who peaked in middle school and is now sitting in a dimly lit neighborhood bar reliving the glory days. The first half of the season carried some hope, but the last month of Mariners baseball has been pathetic.

We are the Mariners of the baseball world. 54% is optimistic.

But generally speaking, this relentless epidemic of starting pitching injuries is destroying the game.
