I didn't expect Stanek to be dealt so quickly after acquiring Yimi.

Stanek was just a big question mark when he went to the mound recently; very uneven performances what with walking batters before he even got outs. Put us in danger.

What's a Rhylan Thomas? 5'10", 24 y.o., bats/throws lefty outfielder. Drafted in 11th round out of USC in 2022 by the Mets. Appears to put the ball in play, walks a bit and doesn't K a lot. He's just a warm body in AA/AAA.

The proverbial "bag of balls" in return.

I didn't expect us to trade any of our relievers

I guess even Jerry got tired of Scott putting Stank-it in the game with leads. :D

Stanek still had value as a middle reliever. Odd move.

Santos knee better be OK then. Doubt they trade him if Santos is going on IL. So Santos is hopefully ok!
