Do you guys think they'll be too cheap to offer Robles a QO if they can't get him to sign an extension?

I don't think he is eligible for one....

I think he is a Free Agent after this year but dear God they should be fired if they offer him a QO. He's been playing out of his mind.....for 83 AB's this year. His career stats haven't been that good or that consistent and in 8 years he's playing over 100 games 3 times.

He's been fun to watch but he's not someone you rely on to be a starting OF next year, besides where is he going to play RF?

Same position he is playing now. I would say if he finishes the season strong he should be an option for an extension and a Randy, Julio, Robles OF. That would give him about 500 PAs over 2 seasons with about a .300 BA and .800 OPS.

Same position he is playing now. I would say if he finishes the season strong he should be an option for an extension and a Randy, Julio, Robles OF. That would give him about 500 PAs over 2 seasons with about a .300 BA and .800 OPS.

The Mariners are in a great position here to offer a very favorable contract, like maybe 1 year with an option year or something like that. And from the player's perspective he should be willing to take any reasonable offer. The smart thing for the Mariners, if it's something they want to do, would be to get it done in September.

Yep, $20M is only 2.5 WAR. He has put up 1.5 for us in 94 PAs. That is over 9 WAR per 600.
