He's Baaackkkk
Re: He's Baaackkkk
lol of course - its the last big payday he will ever get - he had to cash that option in.
Re: He's Baaackkkk
Sorry to say, I would, too.
Let's hope that Mitchie doesn't take an off-season, but dedicates himself to health and has a 2025 comeback year of the ages!
I'm not counting on it, of course, but what a story it would be.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!
Re: He's Baaackkkk
Of course - he probably walks away with 6-8 mill of that 17.5 after taxes/agents/etc... if he's smart that lasts he and his family forever along with his other earnings...
Re: He's Baaackkkk
I don't blame Mitch at all. Hope he can bounce back.
It's more likely he gets Marco'd imo. Sent off with Canzone or another of this years discards in a salary dump.

Re: He's Baaackkkk
It is $15.5M. He will probably get almost $10M cash. He has made $43.5M in his career.Lamda wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 6:09 amOf course - he probably walks away with 6-8 mill of that 17.5 after taxes/agents/etc... if he's smart that lasts he and his family forever along with his other earnings...

$15.5M for Canzone seems like a lot.....They will need to send an actual prospect.
