I think they have a chance. If it comes down to a few teams, the tie-breaker could be which team is willing to rescind their Jan 15 verbal commits and dedicate most or all of their international cap space to the Sasaki offer. That's a bad move for your international operation, but it does happen. If it was me, I would probably go ahead and do that, and take the reputational hit, but obviously we don't know what the thought process is in the front office.

This is silly non-sense. Count on the M's to be all in on Carlos Santana.
Carlos Santana will have a higher salary than Sasaki in 2025.
