I love how people say we should trade top prospects but then don't bother to come up with any names that make sense.

Same thing we've been saying for 5 years in a row now.

Somehow they always find themselves one player short of being an actual contender.

Yep we could just copy and paste all of our posts from the past 4 off seasons. Not sure what the point is though. There is no new info. Just a broken record describing their ineptitude so I am done. Doesn't mean I excuse any of it but I am going to try to talk about things other than the sun is hot and water is wet and the people running this franchise are weak ass bitches.
Yeah, that's a shame. They whip us into complacency when what's needed is an angry horde that realizes we're exactly where we were 10 years ago minus Cano and Cruz.

But, I feel the same. We know exactly what's coming. Nothing we can do about it but bitch and moan, or just wait to see if it turns out as expected again.

There aren't that many interesting trade targets. On the position player side, it feels like there's a lack of talent out there and anyone you trade a prospect for is probably just going to suck in this ballpark.

Apparently the M's have talked to the Phillies about Bohm.

They asked for Kirby or Gilbert.

This is what you get when you tell the world you're poor and only add talent via trade.
On this, we agree. I can't stand how he boxes himself in to a corner. And the only possible pitcher I would trade would be Castillo.

I guess we were linked to Christian Walker. That would not be bad: Walker, Lowe, Burger

Come on, the mariners are like the least desperate franchise in MLB. The only way another team could take advantage of dipoto would be if they were actually interested in competing

See where Manfred has said he's now considering the Golden at Bat rule. That's where a manager could pick a player to bat out of turn once a game. Talk about ridiculous, is baseball honestly going to change rules just for the sake of changing them?

Exactly but they want to trade top prospects for those guys. I am the antithesis of a prospect hoarder but if you say trade top prospects, then say for who exactly. There only a FIVE teams in the prospect market due to expanded playoffs. Who besides Rooker is worth them???

Here is your choice of Teams:

A's
Marlins
White Sox
Nationals
Rockies

That's It!

Burger is straight trash. How can you possibly want to trade anything for that guy?? Just go with Moore and Shenton instead.

Burger 0.5 bWAR in 579 PAs

Shenton plus Moore 2.3 bWAR in ~500 PAs

It is Savannah Banana Harlem Globetrotters Clown car nonsense. When I first hear it I thought it had to be internet rumor BS but Stark actually wrote about it. If his source isn't correct, his credibility is gone forever.

They traded Geno Suarez for Seby and Vargas.

3.8 fWAR for 0.0 fWAR

And then used the saving on Polanco who put up 0.3 fWAR
