This is exactly right. You work him up to probably 140-145 innings in 2025, 160-165 in 2026, etc., pretty much exactly how you did it with Gilbert and Kirby.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2024 11:45 pmWoo didn't pitch a lot last season either. He can be spelled by Evans and Hancock.

It worked the same way it always has for me.

Re: Winter Meetings Thread
I’m of the opinion that it would not be an issue. It would mean that once out of every four rotations, a picture would have to go on one less days rest. and that really doesn’t matter because most of the times there would be off days in between at some point, and if it was really a stretch of 20 games were the starters got he could always bring up Evans or any of the other Quade/prospects for a spot start.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2024 11:44 pmThat is worthless because you don't have off days. You are going to get the other five starters out of whack because of some Japanese Bullshit pitching philosophy. Hard Pass.Pharmabro wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2024 10:05 pmGame 1 SasakiD-train wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2024 3:15 pm
Please demonstrate how that would work from March 27th to April 30th:
https://www.mlb.com/mariners/schedule/2025-03
game 2 Kirby
game 3 Gilbert
game 4 Miller
Game 5 Woo
game 6 Kirby
Game 7 Sasaki
game 8 Gilbert
game 9 Miller
Game 10 Woo
Game 11 Kirby
Game 12 Gilbert
Game 13 Sasaki
It does not look like some hurdle that couldn't be cleared
Re: Winter Meetings Thread
Is Jerry doing anything other than letting Justin lick his toes?
Re: Winter Meetings Thread
Looking like a typical M's Winter meeting and offseason. Not going to get much done. But they may surprise me.
Re: Winter Meetings Thread
What is it with the utter infatuation with slow RH dead pull low average hitters that won't stand a chance in t-mobile? Parades couldn't hit a lick at Wrigley and you expect him to come here and hit???? After the trade to the Cubs, he hit a robust 67 tOPS....wait....heck, he sounds like a Mariner stalwart already
Re: Winter Meetings Thread
Because he hit well at the Trop which is the second toughest place to hit in baseball and there are no other 3Bs available unless you want to trade Bohm for Gilbert or kidnap Stanton for a $150M ransom and sign Bregman with it. Next question.Bil522 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2024 4:02 pmWhat is it with the utter infatuation with slow RH dead pull low average hitters that won't stand a chance in t-mobile?
