Not a fan of losing Taylor either. Wasn't he the little speedster? Perfect 26th man type..

They must feel like Masterboni and Solano will make a good platoon at 3B.

That leaves Bliss/Moore at 2B/Util.

Still not sure what they like about the Masterboni guy except that he can bat left handed. That's probably all it took actually.

It's kind of interesting that they brought Blake Hunt back. When they moved him to the Orioles, I assumed they were sort of writing him off, but I guess not.

I wonder how "cash considerations" works. Within the week do they name a dollar amount and we say yea or nay? And I wonder if maybe the Oriholes might just say "You know what, this one's on the house, guys".
He sounds like the winner of this year's GM white elephant gift exchange.

So a Nick Raposo replacement
Why didn't they just DFA Samad Taylor to make room for the Masterbater? They are so weird.

We dumped Samad Taylor off the 40 to make room for hunt. He was listed as an INF so they think Miles Mastroubouni is a better player than Taylor essentially and I don't think I agree with that. Taylor is an exceptional baserunner, elite base-stealer, was pretty good in AAA last yr and Mastrobouni is considerably weaker across the board.

I don't like that trade off.
Like I said, even their moves on the margins make zero sense. Tyson Miller agrees. Damn that was a complete FU. They are so incompetent at building a MLB roster.

DiPoto should be jealously glaring at whoever got the Fatty Patty blow-up doll.

Just saw this on MLBTR, that the Mets seemingly are out on Alonso.

This reminds me of the folks who patronize thrift stores. No problemo. Looking for bargains. However, this is not the way to achieve a MLB playoff team.
