Darndest thing, isn't it? Chone Figgins had the best season of his career the year before we signed him. I wonder if we should call it Shaun Alexander Syndrome, where you get a big contract and then immediately cease to be even a decent player.

That is right up there with Second and Goal, Super Bowl XL, the Mariner collapse in New York in 2001 (which I blame on Freddie losing to the damn WhiteSox in the first round fucking up our rotation), Dikembe hugging the basketball, the Sonics moving, Chuck Nelson missing a FG in the Apple Cup and Vinnie's helmet scoring a TD as my all time worst sports memories.
