Thank God we massively improved our offense to "shoulder" the load.

Kirby said "I hurt my shoulder using the churner so I stopped immediately...
...it's a little bit butter now". :D

Weird. He says he hit the shoulder, and Hollander said there is no damage to the UCL. Great, can he tell us his toe looks good as well?
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

It's not serious. Hopefully he misses just 3 starts

FYI pitchers build up inflammation in their shoulders and elbows every time they pitch more than 25 pitches and that includes obviously the pre-game bullpen work. That's just natural through aggressive use of the arm. So all we have here is lingering inflammation. Let it calm down and just monitor George maybe a little more than usual this year.

Whenever he comes back, slot him in 5th of whatever the current rotation is. Ease him back in, maybe go temporarily to a 6-man rotation, just to be sure he has no setbacks. Or have him skip a turn.

God forbid we have any other sore arms or elbows with this pitching staff.

This has been my biggest fear, losing one, two or even three of our starters to lengthy arm issues.

I am positively, 100% sure that this year's offense will support any pitching letdowns with massive run production, right?
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

George Kirby as the 5.... (btw, I think that's the obvious move considering his replacement will be pitching 5th)

Can't wait to see him just eating his opposing starter alive every 5th day. He could go 18-3 even with 28 starts or something
