It’s lefty Jeffrey Springs vs Castillo, so Rotowire going with this expected righty lineup.

Well, this is where our rotation needs to settle in and do work. We've got Castillo going up against a dude that hasn't been healthy the majority of the last 3 seasons. He gets dealt. He's not a bum, but he's also not a stud.

Time for the offense to go to work over these next 3 days and sweep the A's. I want to see Castillo, Bryce, Woo all chalking Ws to go to 1-0 with 7 strong.

Yeah, I looked at Spring's stats. He was lights out one season but like you said, has pitched much at all lately. Wasn't good in ST.

He looked pretty good when he came back last summer for 8 games. His FB was down a bit but good secondary pitches. He once was on track to be a stud

You know, I like keeping them in AA because let's face it, it's a harder league. If they started hitting bombs all over the PCL, there's questions whether it plays at the majors.

But with Young at least, it means you're blocking Emerson from coming up to play SS, right? Or is Young permanently at 2b now?
