Was at the game again tonight. Spoke with Tim Beckham a bit. Pretty cool guy. He had us laughing while pretending to throw Shed Long's official 1st base hit into the crowd.
...........must not respond positively........been called a homer too often..........must be grumpy, bitchy and Debbie Downer........say something to take joy away from Smf................

..........what the hell ya talkin' to.....................nope, can't do it................

...............and with no apologies to Astroknott.............

Sexy, good for you! Glad you could laugh with him. Loved him toying with Long. Thanks for sharing.
Part of the enjoyment of the original mariners site was the different voices who made up the place. No one that contributed was the moderator. Yes there were fights and yes there was stupid childish posts, But when those posts were obviously ignorant or just plain dumb...Someone was always bound to speak up and bring it back to both civility and an informative discussion. Rarely was the need to threaten with banishment when the discussion went off the rails, except for those few times a couple of our members went horse back riding over at the horse forum and Joan took the buggy whip to them.... The point being that when you go all childish with your googoo gaa gaa language...That isn't interesting to me and not even for a little bit, Its more like finger nails on the chalkboard... Before when you went childish...some there myself included, made fun of you or ignored the behavior and the world moved on.. Here you seem to have the reasoning that Im being grumpy, bitchy and Debbie Downer and more. Really Phil all I said was " What is this fucking grade school" and you go off for several posts suggesting all manner of negativity. The ONLY reason I moved over here was to stay near my friends who share a common friendship of mariner mayhem. Your welcome to your googoo gaagaa, But If no here can call out your Benny Hill behavior then your eventually gonna have a dialogue with 2 yr olds. Change your diaper

What's wrong with Benny Hill behavior? I think it's pretty fun being chased around the neighborhood at 40 MPH.

If you care at all about next year's draft pick, do us all a favor DT and continue to steer clear of game threads for a while. I think the #3 pick is doable.

Considering that our #3 picks have been Roger Salkeld, Jose Cruz Jr., Jeff Clement and Mike Zunino, I don't think we should hang out hats on that.

By the way, our #2 picks have been Bill Swift, Dustin Ackley and Danny Hultzen. Our #1 picks have been Al Chambers, Mike Moore, Ken Griffey Jr. and Alex Rodriguez. Unless you're lucky enough to score Junior and A-Rod (or maybe even Cruz), this tells you all you need to know about MLB "draft position".

I'd ask for some magic to get a game thread win but we'd probably get our own, cellar dwelling Ziskmagic. ;)
