Take it away Jay. Get us a winning streak going.

I hate the lies saying this team really has chemistry. I have seen none of that in a while!!! Someone needs to step up and have a closed door meeting to get thier shit together find out what is going on!! How does a team just completely fall when riding high? Can't even buy a win right now. No pitching offense is OK but not great this team is heading for the cliff and ready to drive over!

M's were out-hit 30 to 10 these last two games. Just awful...

Yea totally sucks. Skanks backup pitchers doing way better then ours and they have a great pitching team with thier offense. Don't wanna rush Kirby or Logan but wow other then Kirby no one is pitching well at all.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 4:49 amM's were out-hit 30 to 10 these last two games. Can't get swept by the Jays before the Yankees come to town. This doesn't make this squad a bad team, but I do think that everyone that understands baseball knew that the offense has flaws. Especially if Julio is just going to be average. But now? The starting pitching has come down to earth a bit. That's a bad combo.
Only four games, but it looks an awful lot like the first week or so of the season, right? Winning series is great, but it's crazy how fast all that good will can be ended by a losing streak. They needed to pull one off against the Jays, and then at least one against the Yankees. Five or six losses in a row will be a big blow.

De Ja Vu from last season plus our pitching was better. We do strike out less but seem to save the K's until we have ducks on the pond.

He needs to be healthy enough to play solid swimming pool volleyball during his early October vacation to the BahamasSeattle or Bust wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 3:10 amCan anyone explain to me why Kirby needs another rehab start?
I am forever frustrated at the lack of a sense of urgency...
It's like they think b/c they have built a tiny lead that they can just afford to give games away.

Yep the obsession of winning series is so bizarre. Should try to win every game regardless of who you're playing. You need to sweep bad teams. A six game losing streak wipes out a 6 series winning streak in less than a week.Michael K. wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 1:31 pmCan't get swept by the Jays before the Yankees come to town. Did anyone see the play at home where Cabrera blew out his ankle? I was tuning in and out of the game all night and missed it. All of the replays cut out before he apparently injured it.
I don't necessarily thrive on replays of horrible sports injuries (but if I close my eyes I can still see the Joe Theismann compound fracture incident from the 80's because they seemed to play it every 10 minutes on SportsCenter for a week). I was more curious what he did and how serious it looked. Sounds like at least season ending.
