Futures game
Cijntje, a first-round pick in 2024, punched out two batters right-handed and induced a flyout against the only batter he faced left-handed during the second inning.

He struck out top-ranked Brewers prospect Jesús Made (the No. 8 prospect in all of baseball, per MLB Pipeline) with an 85.5 mph curveball and fourth-ranked Marlins prospect Joe Mack on a 97 mph fastball.

Cijntje needed just two pitches when he turned around to pitch left-handed to get top Dodgers prospect Josue De Paula to flyout. De Paula went 1 for 2 with a three-run home run and was named the game’s MVP.

Walter Ford has been chugging along of late. Posted a line of 6.0 IP 3H 5K 0BB 0ER last night
Great to see. I was getting worried about him after his slow start.
Would love to see a Ford-Ford battery some day, with Cal as DH that day, of course.
No bring back their Dad Mike to DH! lol

Walter ford over his last 8 starts.

His whip would be around 0.7.

Something to remember if mariners go with a HS arm, the early numbers might not be the best gauge for them s as we have seen with Morales and now Ford. Even Sloan doesn’t have great numbers, but he’s been very good and for a 19 year old you can see why they are excited about him.
My God they are letting him go 7 innings!!?!?

I was going to include him, too. Isn't he playing in Japan now?
Nope. He's stateside these days, AAA for the Twins: 2025 32 St. Paul IL AAA MIN
Resurrect Whitey Ford and we're good.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

So where does Anderson, Stevenson and Becker fit in the system? Anderson might be #1 while the other 2 probably slot around 11-12 after Sloan
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

Anderson isn't going to be #1 without throwing a pitch. He will be about #5. I would put Becker in the high single digits a Stevenson about 12
