We have to go back to Black & White television, 1966 World Cup Final.
England lead West Germany 3-2 in the last minute of Extra Time. Some fans run on the pitch thinking the final whistle has blown.

"There's some people on the pitch ......
They Think It's All Over..........IT IS NOW"
England have won fuck all since, and I wasn't born. But what a line, he even says it before the ball hits the net.

It ain’t over til the fat lady sings
The first recorded use of the phrase “it’s not over till the fat lady sings” is believed to be from Ralph Carpenter in the newspaper Dallas Morning News, March 1976. To give context for the following quote, a basketball game was being played and the score was tied. Commenting on the game, Carpenter stated:
“The opera ain’t over until the fat lady sings.”
