I tell ya, if this game showed you anything, Geno needs to be an M.

This team struggles vs lefties.
It's a vulnerability yes, but I think the weaker area is the No. 5 spot in the rotation and at closer. I still don't trust Munoz. And Vargas might be showing some cracks.
Munoz closed the allstar game

Yeah I mean Munoz is the closer lol.

Vogel u sure are a funny one.

Hopefully Miller comes back w. a bang. Sadly I think the M's hurt Logan's confidence a bit when they sent him down.

I wonder if the Astros try to hit Cal tomorrow to spark something.

Yesss we need an actual good defender as well. Giving Cal some protection. Other then Montes canf give up much for 2 month rental. Skankees are that stupid wonder if Jerry is. Other then Montes and one of our true pitchers only off limits. Gotta get it done.

Love that the cheaters are scared of us. Switching Valdez with thier ace tomorrow pussies.

If he does hopefully in the butt got a lot of padding then Brown is ejected. Seriously if our best hitter gets hit and nothing then umps are true cheating fans.

Actually, now that he figured out he was tipping pitches,I trust Munoz a whole lot more than Brash at this point. Brash has never been the 8th inning guy. He pitched the 7th, Munoz the 8th and Sewald the 9th last time he was healthy. Sure he pitched some in the 8th but that was not where he was great. The 7th he utterly destroyed lineups.

I think they need to go get Ryan Helsley from the Cards

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!

I had doubts about Cole Young, but even when he struggled at first he looked like a good player and now hes producing big-time.

Man, let's sweep these bums tomorrow. And then fart on their heads.

I can't back this up but my suspicion is that Muni has dealt with a back issue this whole season.
I'm sure all of these guys are dealing with some kind of nagging injury or two at this point.
If so, the guy has balls to do what he is doing. At the same time it's unfortunate because they'll be days he's not his best.
I've said on the forum I don't want to see Muni closing a game 7 for us in the world series.
Don't trust him either. But who else do we got? Brash looked a little off yesterday also.

All the more reason for Jerry to go out there and get us a high leverage arm after the starter falters.
We just don't have that gap between the starters and Brash then Munoz.
Look at Hader. He's normally lights out and he was the first inning he pitched.
Then that second inning he was all over the place.
I think it just comes with the territory.
Unless you are super talented like Mariano Rivera or Sugar...it's a mixed bag of success.

They're better than Bobby Ayala for sure! :D
