Woo vs. Martin G.T. 8/5/25

Time to start along winning streak. This is a good team to start it against. Hope Woo has a better outing than his last one.

I'd be happy with 8 out of 10, or 28 of 35 something like that. Baseball is a long season, players are tired, which I think is the reason Cal is in a funk right now. No need for a long win streak that just puts more pressure on each game....just win series.

Happy with 80% victories? That's very lofty...but sounds good to me!

Again, winning series is great....but all it takes is to lose a few in a row and you are right back to .500. That is the way this team has always been. Win 7 out of 10, and three series in a row and it's great. All it takes is a sweep and you are right back to .500. They need to go on a run, because we now that stretch of "well, that's just baseball" is coming.

I think it’s time to step up and go clutch. Guys need to narrow the strike zone and do a better job of situational hitting. Brash and Munoz dial in better command and get dominant. We also need to improve the roster by bringing up Rivas, Taylor and Ford and jettison Moore, Saiono and Mr. Excitement

Yup - and play Ford 3 days a week at least and let Cal DH - if his recent slump is due to him starting to get tired then that should help.

Money/ego are preventing those transactions from happening. Ford I get as he probably won't hit MLB pitching. Rivas definitely should be on the roster instead of Solano, there is no reason at all for this not to be happening, Solano's in the doghouse and Rivas is on a tear in AAA. Taylor? Doubt he'd do much but he has to be better than Moore who can't even play the field now.

Moore is still good at stealing bases

Our bench has too many “almost Automatic Outs” and that is fixable. We have a right to have the best team possible

You know what would be a nice?

A string of dominant games... I'm so tired of looking at the scoreboard and seeing the Astros shitty lineup up 7-2... the fkn A's up 11-3...

Have some dominance for once.
