MLB.com draft updated top 30

I am greatly disappointed. I think they only got 5 of the draft picks landed in the top 30. The big disappointment is not landing:

My thinking is this they have the 853,720 that they can go over slot to land our 19th round guy who is a big upside 6'6" lefty with a lot of room to fill out and increase in value. You get the 150K bonus for picks 11-20 and you are already over a million. Last year Sloan was drafted in the 2nd but had a #17 1st round grade and he signed for 3M. Both of the highly ranked high school guys are ranked in the 50s that is a full round below the guy that got 3M. he fuzzy math says 2.1M +/- for each of them. So the 1st has a slot value of 1.64M so 460 gets you to 2.1M. With the known data on saving 750K on the 1st pick we know we have about 300K left. I think they could get at least 100K to 250K of a discount on their comp Rd A pick. That gets you o say 1.45M. In 2024 they had a slot value over 800K and the dude they drafted there signed for 50K. To me I think the M's need to ensure they add all their guys to the fold.

To me it is a crime that they were not able to have the design in place to get another top 100/ top 100 adjacent prospect. In the fold.
