Congrats to Bil!!!
Unfortunately my horse in the race only had to put it in cruse control the back 9, so I saw no improvement.

Many thanks to you, Mike, the host with the most. As usual, your format and attention to detail is marvelous and spot on.mostonmike wrote: ↑Sun Jul 20, 2025 5:44 pmCongratulations to Bil522
His second major of the season. Hope you enjoy your title more than Scottie will, as he is already bored of his victory.

See you all at the Tour Championship next month, you don't have any thinking to do, go back about 3 posts here on page 10 for how it works.
My thanks to Yahoo! for finally giving us a scoreboard format that doesn't dick around every round with formatting. Its much easier to set this up.
Congrats to Bill for his skill with the woods, irons and putter.
My guy, Shane Lowry and his shaneful 2-stroke penalty didn't affect my final outcome so he is forgiven (even if he denies his ball moved).
Great contest!
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Thanks Rocky, you should hear the stories of my golf game...they would make the most ardent golfer roll on the floor with laughter!rockycola wrote: ↑Sun Jul 20, 2025 6:52 pmMany thanks to you, Mike, the host with the most. I was wondering why I woke up this morning covered in sweat...thanks to Mike I found out. A big thank you to Mike for putting this on and for all his poking and prodding to get our rosters in.
As always, if anyone finds themselves in in the Northend of the Metro area please give a shout and we can meet up for jar.
Re: OT: 2025 Open Ch'ship Contest & Tournament Discussion
Great contest, Bil522 ran away and hid with the big lead. I was happy with 5th, especially after the first couple days! Thanks again, mostonmike!
Re: OT: 2025 Open Ch'ship Contest & Tournament Discussion
Last major I picked Lowry. He missed the cut by 1 stroke, because his ball got stuck in a ball mark and he couldn't get relief. He's had some bad rules luck the last 2 majorsrockycola wrote: ↑Sun Jul 20, 2025 6:52 pmMany thanks to you, Mike, the host with the most. I am watching the British open but I had to search for it. Isn't there a guide that you can scroll up and down and quickly find network TV. When I tried that I couldn't find ABC, NBC CBS or Fox.
Best part it has a normal guide that you scroll down and it starts with:
ABC
NBC
CBS
FOX
Just like the old days!
I have to make the switch from Comcast cable, internet, phone, the works. I've been a victim of those assholes since they started on the Eastside, decades ago. Even after I called last month to get about $100 knocked of my near $400 a month bill, they still made me buy a fucking smartwatch I don't need to get the deal. Then, after they told me none of my TV services would change and my total bill with tax with tax would be $189, they pulled ROOT Sports and NFL Network, so now I'm missing a Mariners' team worth watching for once and all the preseason NFL games and content on NFL Network. So now that portion of the bill is $212, before adding internet and mobile phone and tard smartwatch. I feckin' hate this company like no other.
*sorry to rant! Today is my anniversary, would have been our 36th, and my late wife Julie and I spent our last one together in 2019 in radiation at Evergreen 35 days before cancer claimed her. All this TV-tier and packages stuff just to watch a ballgame and not get totally buttfucked on the monthly bill could really piss off your average widower. Cheers, bros.

Dude, my heart goes out to you. My wife and I had our 36th a couple months ago and I don't know what I would do without her in my life.*sorry to rant! All I can say about cable....give them hell.

It is a good thing you are an above average widower otherwise they'd be switching the phrase from going postal to going Comcast.maoling wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 12:55 amD-train wrote: ↑Sun Jul 20, 2025 5:14 pmYouTube TV is Awesome.
