I'm sure you guys get sick of my constant negativity with this team, but does it bother anyone else that the Mariners had just 1 hit in the 4th through 8th innings (i.e. last 5 innings) particularly given 4 of those innings were pitched by the clown (with a 15.43 ERA going in) that beaned Robles 3 times and is the main reason he lost his cool and got suspended?
11 runs in the first three innings followed by one hit in the next five against shit pitching. Who fucking does that?

What was Cal's issue with swinging at those 2 awful pitches from Nunez with the bases packed. Did his slider have that much break. He should know better than that especially since he's sitting on 50. That could of been a heck of a day if it wasn't for that strikeout.

doesn't bother me, I think that its pretty typical of how hits and runs are bunched. The 15.43 is obviously sss. I don't see it as particularly indicative of whether he is going to give up a hit in his next four innings of baseball

Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!

Man, this team can make even an 11-4 win disappointing. I realize that we eased off the accelerator, but only one hit against a total dogshit pitcher, possibly the worst in MLB, over the last 4 1/3 innings is sad. We should have put up at least a 15-spot today...you know, like everyone else does now and then.

Gilbert definitely wasn't disappointing today though.

THE RECORD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MVP MVP MVP MVP MVP MVP
Heck ya he made up for yesterday. Go Cal
How about the day before yesterday and the day before that and the day before that and so on...

Cal has been sucking for quite some time.
Not really sure what would make you happy. Cal is having the best season ever for a catcher in mlb history and is currently tied with Aaron Judge for top mlb WAR this season. I greatly respect your right to criticize players, coaches, managers, and owners, but do you think you might be setting the bar a tad bit high? 🤣

The Mariners won't make the playoffs unless Cal picks it up. He needs to stop trying to hit HRs and focus on taking what he's given.

Take away yesterday's game and those numbers are far worse. I just don't see a trend there. And even yesterday he had an awful AB with the bases loaded where he didn't seem at all interested in drawing a walk. His approach has seemed different in the second half (to me anyway).

I think its unrealistic to think he was going to keep up the pace he was on for the entire season. I think they are going to make the playoffs, I think they will win the division. And I think its a bit extreme to put it all on Cal's shoulders to be the one to carry the team for it to happen. Cal is contributing, for me, its the rest of the team that needs to pick it up now and take some of that weight off of Cals shoulders. That's Julio in august, .294 /.333/ .600/ .933. I think its time for Julio to step up and take his turn at it

The call by Goldy on the 49th homer for Cal was great.
