Mariners win! We're HEROES!!!
This was one of those games that wasn't anywhere close to what the final score indicated.
Two out of three from the Madres, gotta like that! Hopefully the Crockies can help us out again tonight. GOOOOOO CROCKIES

Andres 4 seamer this year has an XSLG of .627... last year, .392.
He's got an expected BA+SLG of over 1.000 on that pitch.
It has been sitting 96-98... I wonder if he's gotta get back up over 100.

Note on Bazardo... he's increased his sinker usage by almost double compared to last year and is throwing it 35% of the time. He has reduced the use of 4-seamer by a similar margin, seemingly swapping use of the pitches.
The sinker has a positive run value of 10 and is why he's been so good.

Kyle Schwarber has been the Phillies leadoff hitter, not so much this season i guessSibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 8:48 pmI'm surprised they haven't put Cal at lead-off. And half you guys would support that move too.
