The Mets are 80-76. They've gone 35-52 since June 12. They've gone 18-32 since July 27. Is that a playoff team?

Those first seven innings sucked, but we watch the game to be entertained and that was about as entertaining as it gets.
Considering that the boys had a day off and almost laid an egg tonight, maybe all the celebrating will have the opposite effect tomorrow.

Magic number is 2 for both the Indians and the tigers but they are playing each other so the M's can't clinch tonight.
2 Wins for the M's does it or 1 win from the M's and a split between the Cleveland and Detroit over the next two games would do it as well.
