Hey, remember when we won 116 games, how far did we go from there?

Had to win the final two games of the initial series with Cleveland, to eke out that 3-2 win.

Hey Mike! Was at the game today. Brutal.

Have to have it tomorrow or we’ll look at Carpenter vs Kirby like we do Alveraz vs Ray :(
Make sure you follow all correct superstitions on the way to the park. Are you doing the Hawks game as well today?
No, was tempting but I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to get into the Mariners game on time if I did that. Should be 110k+ people down there between the two stadiums.

Garver to DH. I would love to see you join the folklore of this team if you can deliver what a DH is supposed to deliver.

Go Garver

Speaking of superstition, shouldn't the name of this thread be : Really Really Really Really Really Really Really Really Must Win Game Thread? It worked at the end of the season, why not now?
Done it..... "Strong sense of Foreboding - Game 2 GT" has been scratched and placed on the permanent IL.

How is it Kirby's fault for giving up 2 runs? The M's weren't able to score more than 2 versus the Tigers on their pen day. They hit a number of balls hard into the gap (mainly Polo and Randy) and couldn't find the dirt. Julio couldn't avoid a dp on the bases which probably cost Jorge a sac fly.

Was not on Kirby.

btw, M's dropped the first 2 games to the Tigers in the season series and went on to win the next 4

M's are the better team and over 4 gms, 5 gms it will be proven. Casey Mize and Jack Flaherty are not good
