If so, Woo/Miller in Toronto, day off, then back to Logan or Castillo?

again, having castillo in your hip pocket for the 15th...the pitching finally wore them down, it was attrition
Re: The (REALLY) biggest game of the season Game Thread 10/10/25
I mean Castillo could go. He didn't go that long I don't think. Miller would be on 4 days.. Could go Hancock. Could go Woo if he's ready. Could put Logan Evans on the roster and use himDonn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Oct 11, 2025 5:18 amso the pitching is a disaster going into the ALCS, who pitches one? Miller?

Epic fucking game. So glad we got it done and it's just awesome that we chalked up another great postseason memory for this franchise

So Wilson.
Somewhat maligned but he got most calls right.
He had Castillo and Gilbert prepared just in case. Detroit only decided once it went to extras to consider their starters. That was a masterstroke.
Maybe a bit cautious and could have called for steal attempts in extras.
Don't advertise you are going to use a lefty v lefty matchup 3 days before the game. Thats like tipping your pitches.
But that call to bring up Canzone, then see them bring in a lefty and you pinch hit again without an AB with Rivas was something that isnt in analytics and genius. It shows what he MIGHT be capable of as manager. Without that call, we dont tie the game and probably limp out 2-1.
He scores an A- today.
