Emerson is the best hitter we have coming up. Expect him in early June. He should be our next shortstop, no question. I loved watching him at Tacoma this year. Farmelo is doing great right now in Arizona. Young is going to have to battle Revis and Bliss for 2nd base next spring. I'm not so high on Cole Young. Another 2nd baseman of course that is Michael Arroyo. He's a monster hitter also.. Should make the MLB sometime later next year. We should see some trades this winter....OK, we have the 8kth and the ninth left. Let's do it to it!!

2-0 is THE classic hitter's count. Most everyone gears up to swing at 2-0, hoping for a centered fastball.

He's the 8 hitter down 3 on a team that needs base runners.

A solo shot does nothing for the team. He needs to try to work a walk in a 2-0 count with a pitcher who is struggling with his command.

Cal? Julio? Sure. Canzone when he's 2 for 20? Fuck no.

2-0 isn't a no-swing count for anyone unless he gets a sign not to swing

He's repeatedly fucked up as a mop-up guy, walking runners while trying to strike guys out trying to paint corners. He comes in and makes bad games worse.
