Are the players within each position sorted best to worst, or are they just a general list with no ordering?

I wondered the same thing, but I thought maybe alphabetical, but then saw Wilson before Valle. I love Nelly, but he is not the #1 DH here.

And Buhner isn't over Ichiro. Seems it is pretty random. Just listed them as they popped into his head. And most of the time he thought of the best first.

Exactly. Cano literally got suspended for PEDs. Boone never did. Just some circumstantial evidence.

At first glance I was curious about including Dylan Moore, Aaron Sele and Luis Castillo. But Sele and Castillo have been a part of playoff runs, so probably why. I guess to a lesser extent, Moore too. Had no clue that Mike Moore would have a WAR that high, so he didn't even cross my mind as someone left out. I did think about Ken Phelps, Bochte and Omar though. Had Vizquel been there in 95? He makes this list. People have fallen in love with the guys that were part of the playoff teams.
