Re: Top 50 M's
Can we attribute Boone's success to the roids. If so I think just stick with Reynolds & Cora & I guess Cano.

Yeah, which seems odd. Just to list them in random order.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Nov 19, 2025 10:20 pmAnd Buhner isn't over Ichiro. Seems it is pretty random. Just listed them as they popped into his head. And most of the time he thought of the best first.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Nov 19, 2025 9:36 pmI wondered the same thing, but I thought maybe alphabetical, but then saw Wilson before Valle. I love Nelly, but he is not the #1 DH here.

Didn't Cano get suspended for PEDs? Why would your criteria of no roids apply to one and not the other?HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 19, 2025 10:53 pmCan we attribute Boone's success to the roids. If so I think just stick with Reynolds & Cora & I guess Cano.

Exactly. Cano literally got suspended for PEDs. Boone never did. Just some circumstantial evidence.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Nov 19, 2025 10:59 pmDidn't Cano get suspended for PEDs? The 1st guy I thought they missed on was Little O.
Re: Top 50 M's
Polo could make it especially with a few more good seasons. Randy could get OF if he has another good season. If Josh can repeat his post-trade magic?

Re: Top 50 M's
At first glance I was curious about including Dylan Moore, Aaron Sele and Luis Castillo. But Sele and Castillo have been a part of playoff runs, so probably why. I guess to a lesser extent, Moore too. Had no clue that Mike Moore would have a WAR that high, so he didn't even cross my mind as someone left out. I did think about Ken Phelps, Bochte and Omar though. Had Vizquel been there in 95? He makes this list. People have fallen in love with the guys that were part of the playoff teams.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 20, 2025 6:20 pmI feel like whoever made this list started watching in 1995.
