Re: What is everybody up to?
Winter is my down time for my fun job, coaching....but gets crazy here at work because I deal with contractors that all want there stuff right now because it might snow, or get cold, or the passes close and I can't get their material over there.
Always look forward to Christmas....especially since my birthday is two days later and no one gives a shit since it's still basically the Holiday! LOL

I’m just glad you’re back in the Pacific Northwest. Come visit sometimeD-train wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 2:13 pmI think everyone is well aware of the complete insanity I have dealt with for nearly two years. The RV travel was good other than dealing with almost daily bouts of severe anxiety for the first time in my life that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Imagine that feeling that bad adrenaline rush when you think you might get in a car crash that lasts a few seconds lasting all day until you finally have a triple cocktail which often came as early as 8am. Enough about me lolbpj wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 10:20 amAnything big or new going on in your lives? Break the offseason monotony, tell us what you guys are up to in life these days. I'd like to hear more about you all.
Auburn Terry, where you been, whats going on in life?
Jay, how's your son?
Dtrain, how was the RV travel?
What about the rest of you?
What have you been up to, brother.

My oldest son was in an accident last spring and has recovered and back at work, they just had a beautiful baby girl and my 4th grand baby. Glory to God he has blessed us beyond measure. The wife and I are downsizing from a 3600nsq ft house on 5 acres to a new build approx 2600 sq ft rancher on 60 acres about 30 minutes north of CoeurdAlene we are in the early stages of getting ready to sell this spring.

Wow, what are you going to do with all that land, build a Field of Dreams Ballpark? Maybe the M's low A affiliate could move there!Coeurd’Alene J wrote: ↑Thu Dec 18, 2025 2:22 amMy oldest son was in an accident last spring and has recovered and back at work, they just had a beautiful baby girl and my 4th grand baby. Hello fellas.
I gotta admit. After that series I couldn't even think about anything Seattle Mariners for awhile.
It was like a slight case of walking depression.
I've been busy working for the machine that is the Department of Education in NYC!
It's honestly a breeze after all my corporate jobs.
Best part is the paid holidays and summers.
Next year my dream is to do a tour of eastern washington to see my Dad and Dtrain and Linda,
then down to see Jay and Terry.
Glad to hear your son is doing good Jay. Good luck with the house brother. 60 freakin acres! Awesome!
I do miss the Spring Trainings DTrain. Love you brother. Hope you feeling better these days. Health is wealth!
Heard about the doggie. Hope he's alright.
I'm about to go on winter break and I'll catch up with you!
Hoping we get another player or two before the holiday.

Several. Busan, Okinawa, Hong Kong, Subic Bay, Singapore, Pattaya Beach, Honolulu. Two months after deployment I was in Saudi Arabia, which is like going from Kirkland to Rainier Vista.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 8:52 pmWild. Hopefully it was co ed? lol How many times were you able to get off and breath fresh air?DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 17, 2025 8:33 pmI did live on the USS Pelileu for six months in 1990 (WestPac deployment). Good times. To me, aircraft carriers are by far the best because of the flat open deck.

Good stuff all around! Hang in there Chad! Miss u homie. Terry, so glad to hear your boy is OK. Glory be to God. Darren, if u ever need to chat, just call me. Evenings are best time to reach me.
As for myself, just started my 10-day "stay-cation". Headed down for some pickleball at the moment with some co-workers and getting grounded with my girls. Took the family on the Polar Express Train ride with all of us dressed in Pajamas to meet Santa. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years!
All I want for Christmas is a big bat!
